Provance is three products with one idea: you should be able to prove how your AI work was made. Engine takes a product idea to a signed, traceable delivery package. Synthetic turns your domain into QA-checked, safety-reviewed training conversations. The Compliance Pack checks conversation data you already have and gives you an evidence report.

No. Provance supplies evidence of what was done to your data: which checks ran, which policy and model versions were used, who approved what, and when. Your assurance, risk or legal team uses that evidence in its own assessment. Provance does not certify your compliance with the EU AI Act, privacy law or any other standard.

Yes, for each product. Engine is free for 90 days on one project with your own model key. The Synthetic preview gives you one domain, three gold standards with the full QA report and a 10-conversation sample. The Compliance Pack checks 100,000 words a month free.

On the Free plan you bring your own key for an Engine-grade model: Anthropic Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 or Fable 5.1; OpenAI GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol or GPT-6 Sol; Google Gemini 4 Argon; or Z.ai GLM-5.2. Small and fast models, older generations and some providers are not accepted for Engine work. Pro and Team include Provance-hosted AI, and you can still use your own key on any project.

The documents your engineering team builds from, including the product requirements, architecture requirements, technology choices and sprint-level implementation specifications, compiled into one package with a signed manifest and the record of how each document was produced.

No. Synthetic always runs on Provance-hosted models, because Provance chooses and evaluates the model for each role (generation, gold standards, safety review), and adopts a new model only after it passes the same evaluation.

Every conversation generated counts, including ones the QA checks reject. Your results show the QA pass rate, so you can see exactly what you received. Rejected conversations can never be exported.

A run already in progress finishes. New runs wait until you add a top-up pack, upgrade, or your allowance renews on your billing date. You can also turn on auto top-up with a maximum you set. There are no surprise overage charges.

The Compliance Pack is priced by the words in the conversations it checks. Each word is de-identified, run through every applicable quality check and reviewed by the AI safety review. Annotated findings are free with the check. A rewrite, which you consent to, uses four times the words because the new version is fully re-checked.

Not unless you ask. A check reports findings with their exact locations. If you choose a rewrite, the original is kept, the new version is checked again in full, and you get a before-and-after comparison.

Prices are shown in US dollars by default. Organisations billed in Australia pay in Australian dollars. All prices exclude GST; 10% GST is added at checkout.

Annual plans cost 11 times the monthly price, so one month is free (Synthetic Scale annual is by quote). An organisation with a paid Synthetic plan gets 10% off its Engine plan. Both products share one subscription and one invoice.

Paid plans include an evidence bundle with each export: signed records, hash-chain entries, signed checkpoints and their RFC 3161 timestamps from an independent timestamp authority. The provance-verify tool, licensed under Apache-2.0, checks a bundle entirely offline, trusting only the public key and timestamp certificate you give it.

No. Records are linked by SHA-256 hashes in a chain per project or domain, and checkpoints are signed and timestamped by an independent authority. Nothing about your data is written to a public ledger.

Personal details are removed before anything is stored or sent to any model, and replaced with reserved fictional values and placeholders. Your organisation chooses how personal details are handled, and that choice is recorded. Nothing that carries personal details can be exported.

We do not make data-residency promises on this site. An Australian-processing option is planned for Enterprise customers first and is not available yet. If you have specific requirements, talk to us before you upload data.
